| The Department of Chemical Engineering resides in the College of
Engineering on the Red Campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Established in 1906, we have a long standing commitment to provide quality undergraduate and graduate education. Our department serves the discipline well by providing state of the art research facilities in many cutting edge fields including plasma processing, polymers, reaction engineering, environmental issues, biochemical engineering, and many others. Its size allows the conveniences of a large city but that at home feeling of a small town. Columbia features a wide variety of entertainment from the MKT Fitness Trail to the Columbia Mall to many close-by state parks and wineries.
